Last Saturday, after the photography workshop, I headed to Ayala Museum for Chateau 1771's 25th Anniversary! It was really awesome! It was my first time celebrating with Chateau 1771's group of restaurants because I wasn't able to attend their Winebar event weeks ago.

Anyways, the celebration featured the success of the restaurants as well as a book launch where they shared their great way to where they are right now.

Of course, what's the event without a taste of their sumptuous offerings. Totally digging the desserts since they are not too sweet (I hate sweets!) and perfectly awesome for me. Their steak is also amazing!

The event also covered the prestigious launch of their Behind the Doors of Chateau 1771 coffee-book which contains the family's secrets as well as some recipes. The book itself is limited to 1,000 copies and I was lucky to have one which Chef Vicky signed herself. She even said in the note: Ang dami mong names! (You have lots of names!) which for me was very special and personal.

The best thing about this is I got to meet new blogger friends which is so awesome! There was Josef Karol of pursuitforthebetter.tumblr.com and Pabee Velasco oputograft.com.

With Ms. Vannah Santiago.

As you may know, I recently attended the Fashion Photography workshop of The Photography Academy Manila and last Saturday we finally had our practical shoot. It was the first time I ever had a shoot as a photographer and I must say that I was so excited! There was something about it that makes me go wild!

Anyways, here are the final shots I took. For a first timer, I am so proud of myself. I think I found a new career path. What do you think? :)

Photographer: Justin Vawter Greco Buenagua
Model: Xu Ai Ming (Grysh Co)
Stylist: Jane Econar
Hair & Makeup: KisÅ› Mejia

A walking doll, I was so surprised that the model was Grysh Co, a fashion blogger who I've been following for years. Finally got a chance to meet her. Plus, it's the first time I have learned Photoshop. I hated it before because I basically don't know how to use it but now, it's my best friend! Haha!

The second shoot was outdoors and I was really going for the magazine type! haha!

I've been thinking of new stuffs lately.. and been creating new DIY's! So this time, I'll show you a look that is very basic.. jeans + black top + a cool necklace I did out of random metal stuffs!

Wore this to my class a few weeks ago.. really proud of the necklace.. haha!

Planning for creating other designs aside from diamonds.. though I am running out of ideas. Anyways, if you want to create this as well, just cut thin metal wire and glue them together using a glue gun. Right after, just secure it with a very thin metal wire all around to make sure it wouldn't collapse.
